Could RHONY season seven soon include nine housewives? On April 23, Real Mr. Housewife speculated on the possibility of Kelly Bensimon returning to the Bravo reality show full-time.
Although the cast of RHONY season seven is quite full at the moment, with more wives than the franchise has ever had — in any city, a Bensimon return is always possible. For the past few years since she was booted from the series, along with Cindy Barshop, Jill Zarin and Alex McCord, Bensimon has maintained friendships with many of her co-stars, including RHONY season seven cast member LuAnn de Lesseps, who she was seen with on Tuesday night’s episode.
Following the episode, Bensimon surfaced on Twitter, where she shared her thoughts on returning to the RHONY season seven cast full-time after being presented with the idea by a fan.
“Never say never. I like all the wives, I just don’t like bad behavior. I’m a midwestern mom #values.”
Bensimon also spoke of her RHONY season seven confrontation with Bethenny Frankel, who returned to the show full-time in October after taking three seasons off.
“No one creates better TV than Kelly vs. Bethenny.”
Bensimon and Frankel butted heads throughout their time together on previous seasons, and were recently reunited on-screen for the first time in years, which created for quite the dramatic moment on RHONY season seven.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bensimon spoke of the possibility of returning to the show for RHONY season seven in April 2014. During an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment , the model and mother of two said she would consider returning to the Bravo show if the circumstances would allow her to film her real life .
“I loved being on the show and meeting these women and observing their lives. The only way that I would actually ever consider coming back is if I could actually show my real life and be able to celebrate who I am, versus being in a scene with women I don’t know. Forcing an undercurrent makes the viewer really unsettled. Just let the cameras roll, let the women go for it. Why do you stop filming? When we were in Morocco, all of the best things that happened were after the cameras finished. Me sitting in my underwear drinking wine with LuAnn and Sonja crying? I mean, that’s like TV gold.”
