Kendra Spears Gives Birth: American Model Turned Princess Has First Child

Kendra Spears gives birth, and news of the new arrival is leading to a huge celebration on social media. News of the arrival of a baby boy was announced on the official site of the Ismaili Muslim Community on Tuesday. Fans of the former supermodel shared their congratulations on Twitter as soon as the news was released.

At the age of 26, Kendra Spears has lived a very busy life. She had a blossoming career as a supermodel when she met Aga Khan’s son Prince Rahim. They married after a short engagement of only four months in September 2013, according a previous Inquisitr report.

Since then, Spears’ life has changed completely. She is now known as Princess Salwa, and her new son is named Prince Irfan. This is her first child.

The statement from the Ismaili Muslim Community website shared more details about the baby boy’s arrival.

“Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa have announced the arrival of their first child, a son named Prince Irfan, born in Geneva, Switzerland on 11 April. Both mother and child are in good health.

Mawlana Hazar Imam’s special message to the global Jamat on this occasion has expressed the great happiness of the Aga Khan and Spears family.

Jamats around the world have received the news of Prince Irfan’s birth with immense joy and traditional celebrations.

On behalf of the Jamat, the Ismaili Leaders’ International Forum and various National Councils have sent messages of congratulations to Mawlana Hazar Imam, the new parents and both families, with prayers for Prince Irfan’s long life and wellbeing.”

According to a previous OK! Magazine report, her father-in-law announced her pregnancy with a statement in October.

“Expressing his greatest happiness, Mawlana Hazar Imam [the Aga Khan] informed the Jamat [community] today that Prince Rahim and Princess Salwa are expecting their first child.”

Since her marriage in 2013, Kendra has taken a large step back from her modeling career. She was discovered in 2008 after winning a contest held by the Ford Modeling agency. It was through a modeling friend, Naomi Campbell, that she met her future husband.

During her time as a model, she was called “the next Cindy Crawford” because she has a similar mole on her upper lip. Spears worked for several well-known designers, including Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and Marc Jacobs.

Before she became a real princess, she had earned a royal title — at least among her fans. Spears had embraced Twitter, and she had earned the nickname of “Twitter Princess.” Her Twitter is still active, but it is not as active as it used to be.

She has not released her own statement about the birth of her son on her Twitter, but many fans have sent her well wishes via Twitter in recent days.

Right now, it is clear that Princess Salwa is busy focusing on being a wife and mother. Some women dream of meeting a prince and marrying him someday. Kendra Spears, born in Seattle, is living that dream.
