Yolanda Foster Treated For Lyme Disease In Mexico
Yolanda Foster’s latest Lyme disease treatment took place in Mexico. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has been fighting the disease for over a year, and last week, she traveled south of the border in hopes of finding a cure.
On April 10, Yolanda Foster shared a photo of herself receiving an IV.
“RISE UP AND ATTACK each day with courage, thank you Mexico for being open to ancient medicine…………. #OzoneRHP #TijuanaMexico #SearchingForACure #ChronicLymeDisease.”
According to an April 11 report by Starcasm, Yolanda Foster travels often in hopes of finding a cure for Lyme disease. In addition to regular visits to Europe, Foster reportedly underwent a stem cell therapy in Seoul, South Korea, where her husband, David, was working on Asia’s Got Talent.
Symptoms of Yolanda Foster’s Lyme disease include “trouble with words, short-term memory loss, and problems absorbing information,” Starcasm reported, adding Foster also struggles with “joint pain, migraines, pain in her legs, loss of eyesight, and a chronic cough.”
On Sunday, April 12, Yolanda Foster returned to Instagram, where she shared a photo of herself and her husband.
“Hard times reveal true love…. Thank you my love for your unwavering support and dedication to get me well #LoyaltyAtItsBest #SnuggledUpWithTheOneILove.”
In December of last year, Yolanda Foster claimed she suffered a Lyme disease relapse, which left her unable to read, write and even watch television. Ever since, she and her husband have been doing whatever it takes to help get her back to her normal self.
After suffering the relapse, Yolanda Foster’s role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills took a backseat to her treatment. Understandably, Foster stopped blogging a short time after her reveal, and was only featured in a limited role on the series’ three-part reunion.
However, as the Inquisitr reported, Yolanda Foster did share a “finale” blog with Bravo earlier this month. In her last blog entry, Yolanda Foster opened up about her ongoing struggle with Lyme disease.
“My world has become very small. I have moved into an apartment with my husband and son in order to have a more manageable scope of responsibilities while I recover slowly and learn to take life one day at a time. Getting well is my full-time job these days.”
“I am a determined warrior, and even though this has brought me to my knees, I know God often uses our deepest pain as the launching pad of our greatest calling.”
Yolanda Foster has not yet released a statement regarding her future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
