‘RHOA’ Star Cynthia Bailey: Can She Move On Without An Apology From Phaedra?
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey may have found her voice this season, but it sounds like this strong voice may not sit well with everybody. This season, Bailey has left behind her friendship with NeNe Leakes, and it sounds like her friendship with Phaedra Parks may be on the rocks as well. Maybe Bailey’s interference in other people’s business has caused her to go too far.
On the cast trip, Cynthia Bailey didn’t get an apology from Parks as she had expected after Parks walked out on Bailey during a sit-down dinner prior to the trip. But peace was made between Phaedra and Kenya Moore, as they had been going through some serious issues over several seasons.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that she is glad that Phaedra and Kenya got to work out their issues on the trip, even though Cynthia herself would not be getting an apology from Parks.
“Apologies aren’t exactly falling out of the sky amongst these ladies. You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting an apology from one of them. So when someone offers an apology in hopes of moving on, it is usually considered to be a positive thing. So why not address the issue, have the conversation, apologize if it is necessary, and move on? Who has the energy to stay mad at someone forever? Not me, I am moving on regardless,” Cynthia Bailey explains about the drama that unfolded.
Of course, Phaedra Parks agreed to sit down and talk with Kenya Moore, which is more process than anyone had hoped for. Clearly, Kenya is still very hurt because she never got an apology from Parks for calling her names, even though it was later proved that her husband had lied about Moore.
Cynthia had tried to talk to Phaedra herself prior to the trip, but it didn’t go so well. Maybe Parks doesn’t feel she needs to apologize to Bailey for her actions. These two did not solve their troubles. But Cynthia Bailey claims that she can move on without any apology from Parks. Plus, Bailey may have more troubles with NeNe Leakes out of all the ladies. Sadly, NeNe didn’t come on the trip – but it was probably for the best.
“We had an amazing time in the Philippines. It was one of my favorite cast trips, outside of Anguilla when Peter and I renewed our marriage vows,” Cynthia Bailey added about the trip.
Prior to going on the trip, Cynthia had tried to squash any drama she had with the ladies, as she was open to making the therapy session work. Bailey explained at the time that she was not a mean girl. According to the Inquisitr, Cynthia Bailey revealed that her issue with NeNe Leakes did not rest on her shoulders alone. Clearly, Bailey wants to see some form of initiative from her former friend.
