Obama Vists Chinese Restaurant, Gets His Butt Grabbed [Photo]

President Obama made a surprise visit to the Great Eastern Chinese Restaurant in San Fransisco yesterday and got a little bit more than he ordered. The President got his butt grabbed by more than one of the restaurants happy workers (see photo below).

The President came to the restaurant without a tie and his sleeves rolled up to pay a visit and to get himself some lunch. shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, steamed pork buns, Shanghai dumplings and stuffed mushrooms. He then posed for pictures with the staff.

This is where things got as little weird. Photos show that some of the staff put their hands strongly on the president’s rear end for the photos.

This is not the end of the controversy. Chinese restaurants have been in the news lately for selling a delicacy called Shark Fin Soup. in order to make the soup, fisherman who catch the sharks usually pull them from the water, slice off their fins and then throw the crippled animal back in the water to die. Obama recently signed the Shark Conservation Act into law, parts of which specifically target the barbaric practice of shark fin harvesting.

The Great Eastern is one of those Chinese restaurants that have Shark Fin Soup on the menu. Although the fins in the soup are technically illegal, there was a clause in the law that allows restaurants to continue selling their existing stock until 2013. The President did not order the Shark Fin Soup nor is there any in indication he even saw it on the menu.
