Kendall Jenner Defends Bruce Jenner Amid His ‘Becoming A Woman’ Transition: ‘My Dad Is My Everything’ [Video]
Kendall Jenner is stepping up to defend her father Bruce Jenner as new details about his transition are emerging. Sources have revealed that Bruce became emotional while telling his daughters about his transition plans, and that he revealed everything while the cameras were rolling, reported Fox News.
Bruce’s revelations will be shown during Keeping Up With the Kardashians 13th episode.
“It wasn’t a jaw-dropping conversation,” admitted one source.
“He literally started the conversation with, ‘Hey guys, I’m becoming a woman. But I’m sure you probably already figured that out.’
In addition, Jenner requested that his daughters no longer refer to him as Bruce. Instead, he has chosen a preferred new name, which has not yet been revealed in public. He also provided his daughters with a scripted response to use if asked about their father.
“He told the kids that if anybody asks, they are just to respond, ‘Bruce is in a very good and happy place,'” added the source.
Although Bruce participated in that episode, he was excluded in the Kardashians’ new $100 million dollar deal, as the Inquisitr reported.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians queen Kris Jenner signed the multi-million-dollar deal with E! Network only for herself and Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie. The deal specifically excludes Bruce because he is exiting Keeping Up With The Kardashians after season 10. However, his fans can still Keep Up With Bruce because he has a new show in the works at E! Network.
But during the episode that they did film, the family did not discuss whether Bruce plans to have gender reassignment surgery, reported Page Six.
“That is such an elephant in the room,” commented an insider. “But the girls are good with elephants.”
In addition to allowing the discussion to be broadcast on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Bruce has planned both a documentary series for E Network and an interview with Diane Sawyer.
Jenner also has planned his future so that the public transition is gradual,” said a source.
“He will wear women’s clothes more around the house and will gradually make little changes in a more public manner. He feels so much better to be in control of his body and life.”
However, Bruce also is aware that he needs to focus on financial concerns in the wake of the car crash that killed a woman, revealed an insider.
“Bruce is really focusing on income. His speaking engagements have already quieted down … He’s getting over the shock that a woman has died, but he is also aware that he could be sued.”
His daughter Kendall, however, is staunchly behind her father, reported People.
“My dad is my everything. He always had the craziest speeches for Kylie and me growing up, good words to live by.”
