Taylor Swift Admits To Petting The Weeknd’s Hair, Hiding From Police At Grammys After-Party

Taylor Swift is known as “America’s Sweetheart.” She’s the good girl who never gets into trouble, until now. Taylor recently admitted that she had a little too much fun at a 2015 Grammys after-party. The “Blank Space” singer revealed that she petted The Weeknd’s hair and hid during a police raid.

Swift is obviously good friends with singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. He was featured throughout most of her Red tour in 2013, according to 3 News. They also love to party with each other, including at the 2015 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles earlier this month. Some fans would say that Sheeran loves to get Swift into trouble these days.

Ed explained on BBC Radio 1 about the police raid that took place at a Grammys after-party. He said, “We were at a party in Mark Ronson’s room, and then the police shut it down.” Ed added that there were 40 people hiding in the bathroom, including Taylor.

Swift added, “That made us feel so cool! We had to hide in a bathroom. I grabbed Sheeran and I was like, ‘Come here, come with me.’ Who would have thought that I was the one who knew how to get going? [Hozier is] a tall dude and to see him standing behind a door is an odd sight. A lot of weird things happened that night.”

Another strange thing that happened is when Swift petted The Weeknd, as if he was an animal. She was “embarrassed” by how she interacted with the rapper.

“I woke up to an email from The Weeknd and he was like, ‘You told me how beautiful I was for about 15 minutes straight and started to pet my hair.’ It looked really cool that night and I apparently went on and on about it. I was like, ‘You’re so magnificent!'”

Not all of Swift’s fans were happy to hear this story. Some of them found it disgusting that she would treat a person of color as if they’re an exotic animal. Meanwhile, other fans wondered if Swift was drunk or high that night. It’s not every day that fans get to hear stories about Swift’s partying ways.

Taylor didn’t admit whether or not if she was high or intoxicated that night. The singer also revealed that she won’t mention Katy Perry any more in future interviews, according to a recent report on the Inquisitr. Taylor added, “I’m not giving them anything to write about. I’m not walking up the street with boys, I’m not stumbling out of clubs drunk. But I’m never going to talk about her in my interview. It’s not going to happen.”

That may seem a little hypocritical for fans, since Swift admitted to possibly drinking and partying a little too hard. For some, it may mean that she’s finally growing up. Swift is no longer seen as the teenage girl who writes love songs. She obviously enjoys drinking and having fun with her friends.
