‘Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus Flaunts Fashion Sense In New Video

Norman Reedus may be grungy and dirty on his hit series The Walking Dead , but a new artsy fashion video from Flaunt magazine proves he cleans up pretty good, and rocks some serious fashion sense. In the video, Reedus takes a dip in the ocean in an all white suit ensemble and gets contemplative on the beach in various menswear pieces with moody music.

Is there any limit to the talents and many sides of Norman Reedus ? Rhetorical question.

When most fans think of Reedus and his Walking Dead character Daryl Dixon, fashion and modeling may not be the first thing to come to mind for the tough guy who wields the crossbow on the series. But Norman actually has a few previous ties to the fashion world. He has a son with supermodel Helena Christensen and modeled for Prada, before becoming a household name in The Walking Dead .

Perhaps Reedus asked his ex-girlfriend Helena — the vixen seductively romping in the ocean for Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” video — for a few pointers on how to do a sexy beach shoot, although he’s wearing considerably more clothing than she was for that video.

Some of the other looks Reedus sports in the Flaunt fashion video include a heavy textured sweater, a shirtless look with just jeans and a coat, and the fabulous ombre suit and scarf, which should make every man want to go out and buy a wardrobe of scarfs and throw out all their ties. The video, presented by Cult of Personality for Flaunt , only lasts 85 seconds and has no dialogue, but will likely be a hit with fans of Norman Reedus, who has become a sensation as Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead , with fans threatening to “riot” if his character is killed on the series.

The magazine also features a very unusual interview with the actor, done at the Morbid Anatomy Museum in Brooklyn, where Reedus discussed his fascination with Victorian hair art and all things dark and morbid in general.

“I didn’t even realize I was doing it until people told me, but I like trying to make dark things pretty. I didn’t really realize that was a style.”

While Reedus has made Daryl Dixon a TV icon, he’s established a considerably smaller but just as rabid cult following for his role in the two Boondock Saints films, which has a third installation in the works. He’s also been cast in the upcoming film, Sky , alongside Diane Kruger and Lena Dunham.
