Feminist Aborts Baby Because It Was A Boy: ‘Something I Wouldn’t Wish On My Worst Enemy,’ She Says

A feminist aborted a baby after learning it was a boy. The woman known as “Lana” wrote about her experience on Injustice Stories, which has put her on the receiving end of blistering criticism and several death threats.

The woman explains that she was ready to become a mother even though she didn’t know who the father of her baby was. When she found out she was pregnant in 2012, she contemplated for about a month whether she was truly ready.

Things changed drastically when some pivotal events occurred in Lana’s life that made the feminist choose to abort her baby because it was a boy. She had a negative confrontation with a man while flying to San Francisco on her way to an Occupy Wall Street rally that had a huge impact on her decision because he told her she should “know” her place.

As her pregnancy led to the fifth month, Lana had envisioned giving birth to a baby girl. When the doctor told her she was having a boy, she had a meltdown.

“I was in shock, I started crying, weeping at the thought of what I was about to curse the world with,” Lana wrote.

She raged on in her post after a male driver asked her if she was alright on the way home. He noticed her being visibly upset.

“I couldn’t bring another monster into the world. We already have enough enemies as it is. It didn’t matter that I would be raising a son, he would still come into contact with boys, men, perhaps even the suit jockey who would inevitably twist his carefully constructed upbringing with their kindness. He would think ‘These men aren’t so bad, why would mom say that they are holding me down?’ Not all men are bad, my driver showed genuine concern for my well-being that day and I may have taken my anger out on him. That may have been uncalled for. But I knew what I had to do.”

In a follow-up post by Lana on the site, she defends having the abortion… even saying a baby boy was the worst thing in the world.

“If the curse returns, I would do the exact same thing all over again.”

This feminist who had an abortion because she was carrying a boy now has a 1-year-old daughter — and hopes she’ll be as strong and driven as she is when she becomes an adult. Lana was relieved that her body didn’t “betray” her in her last pregnancy. She doesn’t regret aborting an unborn child just because he was a boy.

“To me, the experience was liberating, the emotions I felt when deciding what I should do, and after learning my fetus was male was something I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. Coming out of it a liberated woman though was more than worth it. If I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat.”
