Watch As A Police Officer Pulls Gun On Teens Armed With Snowballs [Video]
A shocking video shows a police officer in New Rochelle, New York, pulling a gun on a group of teens having a snowball fight.
In the video you see a police officer with his weapon drawn as he tells a group of teens having a snowball fight to drop to their knees. Not only does the office point his gun at the teens, he does so while screaming a profanity at the group.
“Don’t f***ing move, guys!”
The police officer then approaches one teen who has dropped to his knees. He frisks the first snowball fighter and then moves on throughout the group. The Daily Mail notes that the police officer was called to the scene at a report of “a snowball fight.” Therefore, it is unclear why he thought the teens might be a threat as he approached. The video shows the officer frisk all of the teens in the area and then apparently let them go.
At the end of the video clip you can hear the woman recording say that the boys were simply having a snowball fight.
“They were having a snowball fight — This group of guys was having a snowball fight and now a cop has a gun on them.”
The New Rochelle Police Department has yet to make a public statement regarding the incident. However, many are asking why such a show of force was needed when the teens were simply having a snowball fight in the wake of snow storm Juno.
What do you think? Did the police officer act appropriately by drawing his weapon on a group of teens only armed with snowballs?
