Sonja Morgan Launches New ‘Sonja In The City’ Podcast: ‘RHONY’ Fans Delighted
Sonja Morgan may have been absent from Bravo for quite some time, as The Real Housewives of New York wrapped earlier in 2014. But that doesn’t mean that this mother of one is ready to leave the spotlight. In fact, Morgan is rumored to be filming the newest season of the show alongside Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel.
And in case you were wondering why Sonja Morgan hasn’t released her toaster oven yet, it is because she is busy building her Sonja Morgan brand. Morgan had tried to convince her fellow co-stars that the way forward for her was her Sonja in the City brand. And while her co-stars may have questioned her, Sonja is pushing forward.
According to a new tweet, Sonja Morgan is in the studio, recording a podcast for herself called Sonja in the City. Here, Morgan will talk about things that she likes, stories from her life and, of course, her fashion ventures and business life. This is something that many people have looked forward to, and Morgan has shared some updates from the recording studio.

“Star of ‘Real Housewives of NY’ Sonja Morgan recounts stories from her life as a television personality, fashion icon and marketing guru as well as week-to-week updates on her entrepreneurial endeavors and jet-set lifestyle,” reads the official iTunes description for the podcast.
Of course, Sonja probably won’t be able to dish out some secrets from the upcoming season of the show, but she may be able to reflect on older episodes. Last season, Sonja Morgan had her heart broken by Harry Dubin, who couldn’t really commit to her. Since then, Morgan has been linked to much younger men, including a man half her age, according to the Inquisitr.
Even if there isn’t a toaster oven on the market, it sounds like Morgan is in full control when it comes to branding her Sonja in the City business. A podcast may be a great idea, given she can’t stay on social media all day to chat with her fans. Plus, with more products coming up, this podcast will be a great place for her to market her new ventures.
And it sounds like fans of The Real Housewives of New York are delighted to see her try something new. Surely, many of her fans will head over to iTunes to subscribe to her new show.
What do you think about Sonja Morgan getting her very own podcast show?
