Tila Tequila Beats Farrah Abraham In Best Celebrity Sex Tape Category At The AVN Awards
Tila Tequila beat out Farrah Abraham for the Best Celebrity Sex Tape at the recent AVN Awards, but the reality star-turned-mom isn’t jumping for joy, and claims Abraham can have the award if she’d like.
On January 29, TMZ reported the following.
“And the AVN Award for Best Celebrity Sex Tape… does not go to Farrah Abraham — but her cakes might take the cake anyway, since actual the winner Tila Tequila would rather be Mommy of The Year.”
“Tila Tequila won the trophy last weekend for her Shakespearean effort in ‘Tila Tequila 2: Backdoored and Squirting’ — but she tells us she’d be happy to give it to Farrah… who clearly wanted it more.”
According to the report, Abraham accidentally stood up as Tequila was named the winner.
After starring for four seasons on Teen Mom, Abraham embarked on a new career in the adult entertainment industry and released her first film, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, in 2013. Following the film’s online release, Abraham set a record for the most views the first day. She even beat Kim Kardashian, whose sex tape with Ray J was released several years prior.
The following year, Abraham’s sex tape sequel, Farrah 2: Backdoor and More, was released, as was her first erotic novel, Celebrity Sex Tape: In The Making.
Although Teen Mom is returning for a fifth season later this year, Abraham will reportedly not be a part of the show. Because the network allegedly felt her choices wouldn’t work well for the image of the show, they chose to move forward without her and continue focusing on the other three girls, Catelynn Lowell, Maci Bookout, and Amber Portwood. They did, however, feature her in a special, titled Being Farrah, which aired in 2014 and gave fans an update on Abraham’s life as a mom.
While Abraham may not be coming back to Teen Mom, she is reportedly in talks to appear for a second time on VH1’s Couples Therapy, and as the Inquisitr reported, recently confirmed she was in talks for “possible TV work” with networks from “NBC, to MTV, to E!, VH1.”
In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Abraham claimed to have a lot on her plate.
“I just can’t rush things, because I’m handling and juggling a lot of stuff currently. I think God has His own timing, and perfect timing, for that.”
Tila Tequila welcomed her first child at the end of last year.
