No Pants Subway Ride Goes Global [Video]
Have you noticed a lack of pants on the subway? It’s probably because yesterday was Improv Everywhere’s 11th annual No Pants Subway Ride. Nearly 4000 pantless New Yorkers participated in the event.
Improv Everywhere reports that No Pants Subway Rides also took place in 59 cities in 27 countries around the world.
Improv Everywhere writes:
“The No Pants Subway Ride is annual event staged by Improv Everywhere every January in New York City. The mission started as a small prank with seven guys and has grown into an international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the world participating each year.”
Here’s a video about the first No Pants Subway Ride which was held in 2002.
The No Pants Subway Ride isn’t a fundraising event, but Improv Everywhere is asking people to donate to the Kickstarter Campaign.

Improv Everywhere releases a video about the No Pants Subway Ride every year and the group said that the video should be coming sometime this week.
Improv Everywhere had a few official photographers stationed at subway stations around the country. Several people have also taken to Twitter to post photos of the pantless subway ride. Here are some more photos from the event. (You can see more photos here.)
