Cynthia Bailey Is Appalled: Demetria Was Met With ‘Preconceived Conceptions Or Judgments’
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey appears to be very shocked this season, as she is learning how the other women are treating the new wives in the group. Even though Demetria McKinney reached out to invite the other ladies to Puerto Rico to support her during a performance, NeNe Leakes and Phaedra Parks didn’t seem too thankful for the offer. In fact, it sounded like they didn’t really care too much for the trip at all even though they went.
Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that she is shocked at how ungrateful and unthankful the women appeared during dinner, as they didn’t seem too respectful of the woman who planned out the trip for them. In fact, Bailey points out that there should be no reason for the disrespect.
According to a new Bravo report, Cynthia Bailey starts out by reminding everyone of a simple quote by J.Y.B – “Treat people the way you want to be treated. Talk to people the way you want be talked to. Respect is earned not given.”
“It was appalling to watch grown women be so rude and disrespectful to Demetria for no apparent reason. To my knowledge when Demetria came into this group of ladies, she had no real issues with any of them,” Cynthia Bailey has said of the scene, where NeNe and Phaedra don’t show much respect.
It could be that the women are just too protective of their roles on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and that they don’t like to let people come into the group. But as Cynthia Bailey points out, there was no beef between them prior to Demetria joining the cast. It was only Kenya Moore that could have had something on the line.
“Early on, she did express some concern about Kenya being linked to Roger Bobb in a blog, but after the ladies met and talked, they moved on. I felt that both Demetria and Claudia were genuinely excited and open to getting to know all of the ladies without preconceived conceptions or judgments. Unfortunately their optimism was met with shade, attitude, sarcasm, rudeness, mockery, and eye-rolling,” Cynthia points out.
According to the Inquisitr, this isn’t the first time that Bailey has spoken out about her dislike for NeNe’s behavior. Earlier this season, Cynthia called out Leakes for making jokes about domestic abuse, which she found was odd considering Leakes claimed to have been a victim herself.
But Bailey is focusing more on her marriage and her career these days. Cynthia’s husband continues to open bars around the country, and recently introduced a new line of coffee.
