Miley Cyrus may have taken things too far this time, after posting a bizarre selfie on her Instagram account Monday, showing blood gushing from her right nostril. The image carries the caption, “Ew” and shows Cyrus wearing a green hoodie and holding a bloody hand aloft. She shared the photo with her 13.9 million followers Monday evening.
A second, grainier image posted shortly afterwards, shows Miley, apparently all cleaned up, labeled “FaceTime unavailable” and accompanied by the caption, “Worst part of Muah dayyyy.” Both full images can be seen at the end of this article.
The controversial images come only days after a photo of Miley Cyrus was posted, showing her sitting at a table covered with various drug paraphernalia. As reported on The Inquisitr, the image was released to The Sun by the person who took the photo.
That photo featured Cyrus relaxing on a sofa, laptop computer on her knees with cannabis, cigarette papers, a vial of white powder and a rolled-up dollar bill strewn around her. The image was allegedly taken by a person who had partied with Cyrus during a recording session in Los Angeles during November, which was alleged by them to have been a “pretty sleazy situation.”
According to the Mirror , Cyrus’s father and her godmother Dolly Parton are both very “concerned for star’s welfare” following the posting of the new controversial images.
Cyrus apparently posted a series of similar photos on Instagram during that same week showing her smoking a suspicious-looking hand-rolled cigarette.
Daughter of country singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley first shot to fame on the Disney series, Hannah Montana. Back in August 2013, she decided to drop her child star image and has, since then, gone on to shock the world, cavorting provocatively and lighting up marijuana cigarettes on stage and boasting about her drug use.
According to the Mirror, Miley Cyrus apparently told Rolling Stone magazine a while back that Hollywood is a “coke town,” but that “weed is so much better.” She did add that she does also like “Molly” (a term used for the purest form of ecstasy) and that they are both happy or social drugs. She said marijuana and ecstasy make you want to be with your friends, out in the open, and not hidden in a bathroom.
Although the recent image did show a rolled-up dollar bill with white powder, Miley Cyrus said at the time of the interview, “I really don’t like coke. It’s so gross and so dark. It’s like what are you, from the 90s?” However, the latest photo does, allegedly, cast doubt on that statement.
