Florida Running Back Adam Lane Poops His Pants During Birmingham Bowl, Has To Change Into New Pair
Florida running back Adam Lane, Jr. had a less-than-memorable moment in the Birmingham Bowl when he appeared to poop his pants and was forced to change into a fresh pair.
The on-field accident took place during a drive in the first half against Eastern Carolina. Many viewers noted that during the drive, Lane appeared to have a dark spot on the back of his pants, and after the running back found his way into the endzone for a two-yard score, the situation became apparent.
Adam Lane, Jr. trotted back to the sidelines, and in full view of cameras, it was clearly evident that the Florida running back had pooped his pants.
Lane later showed up wearing a fresh pair of pants, and the poop stain once on the back was now gone.
Despite his attempt to hide the evidence, Lane’s accident made its way quickly across the internet. Deadspin found some screenshots showing the running back’s dirty pants, and folks on Twitter took note as well.

The Florida Gators had a much cleaner game. Quarterback Treon Harris made some big plays, including an 86-yard scoring pass to receiver Ahmad Fulwood, and the Gators hung on to win 28-20.
Though the Gators had a disappointing season at 7-5, the win in the Birmingham Bowl at least allowed them to end on a high note — even with Lane’s messy moment.
“Words can’t describe how I feel about these guys as a team,” interim head coach D.J. Durkin said. “I’m so happy for our players to go get that win.”
Adam Lane, Jr. also had a great game, ending with 16 carries for 109 yards to go along with the touchdown. He was also named the game’s MVP, though the internet seems determined to remember it as the game the Florida running back pooped his pants.
