Listen To Blogs On-The-Go With Pimp My News iPhone App (Free Downloads Inside)
You can now listen to the latest posts from your favorite blogs on-the-go, thanks to the newly launched Pimp My News iPhone app.
Pimp My News: The iPhone App
Pimp My News is an online service that converts stories from a wide variety of blogs into streamable and downloadable audio files. (See our original review here.) Now, with its iPhone app, the same service is available to carry around with you wherever you go.
Converted Content
The Pimp My News app functions much like the Web site: You select which blogs or news sites you want to keep up with, and the app will grab their content and convert it into audio. You can then listen to the stories at your convenience, either individually or within custom playlists.
The Inquisitr, by the way, is among the blogs featured within Pimp My News. Our tech feed is now in the site’s “Top Blogs” category, and the entertainment feed can be found within the “Entertainment” section.
Social Sharing
Pimp My News’s iPhone app also lets you share content with a single click, and without having to leave the application. It’s automatically connected to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Digg, Delicious, StumbleUpon, Reddit, and Mixx.
Pricing and Free Downloads
The Pimp My News app works on iPhone and iPod Touch devices. It’s now available in the Apple App Store for $3.99. The service itself is completely free.
If you’re one of the first five 10 Inquisitr readers to respond, you can grab the app right now for free, too. E-mail membership [at] pimpmynews.com with “Inquisitr” in the subject line to get your free download code.
