‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Talks Legalization Of Pot
Bethenny Frankel has returned to The Real Housewives of New York, and she is busy filming various scenes with the other ladies. Frankel went to Atlantic City with the other ladies, including the newly separated Ramona Singer. When Bethenny was filming The Real Housewives of New York a few years ago, she was close with Singer. Ramona helped her through her divorce from Jason Hoppy, and the passing of her father.
But it sounds like Bethenny Frankel is back to her old self. While she is still working through her divorce from Jason, she is back to work and is trying new things. This return to The Real Housewives of New York was one that she hadn’t anticipated, but she wanted to return to her roots. And, perhaps, the big pay check waiting for her was enough to convince her.
According to a new tweet, Bethenny Frankel is currently traveling around Aspen, Colorado, and she is shocked to see what the legalization of pot really looks like.
“OMG it’s the craziest thing to see marijuana legal in Aspen. People walking into pot stores like it’s the GAP #ProhibitionDone,” Bethenny tweeted over the weekend.
She continued to share updates from Aspen, writing that she had a great dinner there. It is uncertain who she was traveling with, as it doesn’t sound like any of the other housewives were on the trip with her.
“Food at Zeno’s in Aspen is awesome!!! Yum!” Frankel revealed.
Even though Bethenny Frankel has returned to the show after a hiatus, she isn’t getting a beginner’s salary. In fact, it has been revealed that Frankel may be getting upwards of $1 million for her return to the show. This makes her one of the top-paid stars in the franchise. NeNe Leakes is the other housewife who makes close to this amount.
But is Bethenny Frankel really worth that kind of money when it comes to The Real Housewives of New York? According to the Inquisitr, Frankel has already made a dig at Sonja Morgan for her “team” parties. Bethenny made a dig that her special doctor for rectal problems was not invited to the party, which could have been a comment about Sonja Morgan’s supposed anal sex escapades with Tomas on a previous season of the show.
It will be interesting to see Frankel return to the show. However, don’t expect her to start smoking pot while visiting Aspen. While this may have been something Bethenny would have done on a previous season, she is now a mother, who is battling a divorce. The last thing she needs is to give her estranged husband some ammo against her in a custody battle.
