Miley Banned Shriver: Miley Cyrus Banned From Kennedy Family Christmas By Maria Shriver?
Miley has been banned by Maria Shriver for any and all upcoming Kennedy family Christmas events, according to a new report. Miley Cyrus is dating Shriver’s son, Patrick Schwarzenegger, but rumor has it Patrick’s mom isn’t a fan of the entertainer. According to the International Business Times, Miley and Patrick won’t be spending the holiday together, if Maria has anything to do with it.
“Shriver has made it quite clear that Cyrus is not welcome to their house this Christmas. The Kennedy family is not in very high spirits as Shriver has banned the 22-year-old [from celebrating] Christmas with them — much to her son’s frustration.”
A source shared that Maria just isn’t ready for Patrick to bring Miley around the rest of the family, especially not on Christmas.
“She doesn’t think it’s appropriate to have Miley around the rest of the Kennedy family.”
News that Miley was banned from Christmas celebrations by Maria Shriver isn’t surprising, given the rumors that Shriver doesn’t care too much for the “Wrecking Ball” singer. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, sources say that Maria is worried that Miley will have a bad influence on her son.
Of course, Cyrus has been in the news quite a bit over the past year or so, and some things she does are considered “controversial,” which might not be something that Shriver wants her son getting mixed up with.
And, apparently, Christmas wasn’t the first family event that Patrick was told his girlfriend wasn’t welcome. According to Hollywood Life, Miley was also banned from Patrick’s sister’s 13th birthday party.
“[The family] had a big party on the weekend for his sisters birthday and Miley was not invited. I’m sure it caused tension for them because there were a lot of people there, it wasn’t just family. If he was with his ex she would have been welcome but not Miley. That couldn’t have been easy. Patrick is very close to his sister he’s not going to go against what she asks, especially not on her birthday. She’s hoping that he will come to his senses and realize that Miley does not fit in his world.”
If Miley was banned by Maria Shriver at any family events, there could be multiple reasons for that decision. While the media is fairly adamant about Maria and Miley not getting along, there is a chance that Maria just doesn’t want Patrick bringing Miley over to the meet the family because it’s just too soon. The two have only been dating for a couple of months, so spending Christmas together might be too much, too soon. Thoughts?
