WWE News: New Photo Of The Undertaker Surfaces, And He’s Not Looking Good
For the last several years, the Undertaker wrestled on borrowed time. Around this time each year, the WWE legend is always questioned as to whether he will partake in a match at WrestleMania. The WWE Universe has been lucky to be able to watch the Undertaker in action for over 20 years. To be quite frank, he’s one of the last true legends left. It would be nothing short of impossible to mimic what the Deadman contributed to this business. In all fairness, the Undertaker personifies WWE.
As the years go by, the Undertaker gets one year older. That’s an obvious statement, but the image doesn’t compare to the age. Mark Calaway is 49-years old, but doesn’t quite look the part. What Culturewrote an article last month that showcased 15 pictures of the Undertaker that WWE doesn’t want the fans to see. Some of them are hard to look at, because of how the fans see the Undertaker.
Recently though, the Inquisitr reported that the Undertaker will be wrestling Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31. Even though Sting will be at the same pay-per-view, the two superstars would compete in a highly-competitive match. Taker would never wrestle if he couldn’t give it his all, no matter his age. Then comes the sour news, as SeScoops.com found a picture of Undertaker that was taken recently and the results are not good.
Judging by his physique, the Undertaker is not ready for a high-profile match with a Wyatt. Don’t misinterpret the statement, as Wyatt is a very safe worker. In fact, he’s one of the safest workers WWE has. Last night at TLC, Wyatt and Dean Ambrose both put on a spectacle of a TLC match. Wyatt didn’t injure Ambrose one time and with the stunts they were pulling off, that wasn’t easy.
From a fan’s perspective, I’d like for the Undertaker to face Sting and ride off into the sunset. Sting is in incredible shape, which will allow him to wrestle for the WWE as much as he wants. In fact, the WWE fan shouldn’t be surprised if Sting wrestles a couple of times in his tenure. The Phenom, though, he deserves to retire in a peaceful manner.
There are rumors of the Undertaker going into the WWE Hall of Fame next year, which will allow him to have the best send-off possible at WrestleMania 31. Is Bray Wyatt the proper guy to do that? Sting is the popular choice, as he’s been the “dream opponent” for Taker in the last decade. However, if the Undertaker continues to look worse, then maybe it’s best for him to hang up the boots before sustaining more injuries that could have lasting consequences.
