Kim Zolciak Has No Plans For Music: ‘I Wanted To Be A One-Hit Wonder’

Former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak left the show before she could make peace with NeNe Leakes. The two ladies had been friends for quite some time, but Kim had no interest in making peace with her former best friend prior to leaving the show. Instead, Zolciak wanted to spend more time with her new boyfriend at the time, Kroy Biermann.

Kim Zolciak ended up marrying Kroy and having four additional children. But fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta were all hoping to see Kim and NeNe together again, no matter what it took. The women hugged briefly during a reunion show a few years ago, but that wasn’t enough for fans. So Andy Cohen brought the two ladies together for an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

According to a new Daily Mail report, Kim Zolciak was happy to film the show with her former best friend, and it sounds like things are great with them. They talked about how time has healed most of their wounds, and how they are actually closer than ever.

“NeNe and Kim are in a better place than they’ve been for years. There’s no conflict or competition between them at all,” Andy said of the ladies as they sat down to be interviewed by him.

It is no secret that the ladies have fought quite a bit on previous seasons of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. At the time they fell out, Kim Zolciak was working on her single with Kandi Burruss, “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party.” And while Leakes may have bashed the song a few years ago, she had no harsh words for Zolciak’s song yesterday.

“I thought it was a fun song, honestly, and I tapped my toe when I heard it in the club,” she revealed of Zolciak’s one-hit wonder song.

And it sounds like Zolciak has no plans of going back into the studio. Kim told Kandi Burruss years ago that she wanted to be a country star, but after their second song went bust in the studio because Kim was refusing to sign a contract with Kandi, the song never happened. But she is quite happy with her success.

“I wanted to be a one hit wonder and I did it, I’m good,” Zolciak said, adding, “I’m happy with that.”

According to the Inquisitr, Kim may be more interested in focusing on her family. Recently, her twins celebrated their first birthday, and she shared a touching video on her social media pages.
