‘RHOBH’ Star Carlton Gebbia Didn’t Get Fair Portrayal, Says Lisa Vanderpump

Former The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Carlton Gebbia was one of two housewives who came on the show to film just one season. The other was Joyce Giraud. These two wives didn’t make a big impression on viewers, and they didn’t offer too much of a storyline for producers to keep them around. The drama surrounding Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump was more interesting for viewers to watch. In other words, Gebbia’s sex toys and her religion were not air-time worthy for more than one season.

On the show, Carlton Gebbia was immediately labeled as a witch because of her Wiccan beliefs. Some of the women called her a witch to her face, and Joyce accused her of putting spells on her husband. It seemed like an easy way to hurt Carlton without actually using any substance. However, Gebbia could only roll her eyes. It wasn’t until Kyle Richards called her anti-Semitic that she fought back.

According to a new Real Mr. Housewife report, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump is now revealing that she doesn’t think Carlton Gebbia got a fair portrayal when she was filming the show last year. That could be why Carlton didn’t want to come back.

“I felt that in that season they didn’t get a great break. I think the dynamic of the show was so focused at having a go at me, they lost their way a little bit. It became too negative. I think they weren’t shown in their entirety. That really kind of bothered me,” Lisa revealed about both Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud, with Andy Cohen agreeing.

“I made the point in my book that I thought that Carlton specifically got an unfair shake. Talking to her at the reunion, we portrayed her as a bad witch, but also she’s a PTA Mom — we portrayed her, all the sex stuff and the Wicca stuff, and that was kind of it. I know that there was more to her and I felt that she got an unfair shake. I think that it would have been more interesting if we had shown… like oh yeah this woman likes having these sexy parties, but she’s also a PTA Mom,” he added.

It makes sense why Carlton Gebbia doesn’t want to come back on the show. When asked recently if she wanted to come back and film The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she revealed that she doesn’t see herself returning. Gebbia didn’t specify what her plan was, but she did say that she had not made peace with Richards. Perhaps she feels like Yolanda Foster that the show isn’t really producing any real friends, as covered by the Inquisitr.
