Rihanna And Mystery Man Date: Who’s The New Beau For ‘We Found Love’ Singer?

Rihanna was spotted on what appeared to be a date with a mystery man, or at least, a man who did not appear to be a celebrity and therefore wasn’t readily identified by celebrity watchers, at dinner in New York City Friday, sparking immediate speculation that the “We Found Love” singer may be involved in a brand new relationship.

In the 30-degree New York weather, Rihanna was photographed bundled up in a sheepskin winter coat, with a turned-around baseball cap on her head. Her mystery man date for the evening wore what looked like a yellow down jacket and Green Bay Packers cap.

The pair were spotted dining at Nobu, the high-end Japanese eatery at West 57th Street and 5th Avenue in midtown Manhattan.

But was this mystery man who also left together with the 26-year-old “Diamonds” singer, whose full name is Robin Rihanna Fenty, an actual romantic interest for Rihanna — or just someome she happens to be working with?

Rihanna has been in New York to record her next album, known for the time beings simply as R8, and has been focused intently on the recording sessions at a studio in the city’s Soho neighborhood. In fact, she has kept such a tight focus n her work that very little information about the album’s contents or sound has leaked into the public domain.

And according to a message posted on her Twitter feed, Rihanna plans to keep it that way.

One bit of info that has leaked out comes from Rihanna’s former collaborator, the writer of het hit “We Found Love,” Scottish producer and songwriter Adam Richard Wiles — better known as Calvin Harris. And the news Harris leaked is simply that his material did not make it onto the song list for the next Rihanna album.

“No I’m not on the Rihanna album. I did a few things for it but they don’t get back to you. There are a lot of people involved!” Wiles said. “She listens to everything — I know that — but she’s got a strong idea and identity and an idea of what her album should sound like.”

Rihanna has based much of her career since her 2005 debut Music of the Sun in 2005 on her ability to change her image and sound seemingly at will. As a result, Rihanna has become one of the most successful recording artists in history with an estimated 150 million sales worldwide.

But her personal life has long been a source of controversy, since a domestic violence incident in which she was beaten by then-boyfriend, singer Chris Brown. But she later seemed to take up with Brown again, despite being a victim of an attack by him.

But the Chris Brown days now appear to be officially over for Rihanna, as her date with the mystery man — whose identity is sure ti be revealed soon — may mark a new beginning for the superstar singer.
