‘Party Down South’ Star Taylor ‘Lil Bit’ Wright Is Pregnant, Dishes On Leaving The Series
Party Down South star Taylor “Lil Bit” Wright is expecting her first child with boyfriend Dalton Elliott. In a new interview, the former reality star opened up about her pregnancy, and revealed why she left the show ahead of Season 3.
“I’m feeling good, rather plump!” Wright told Enstars of her pregnancy, noting she wouldn’t find out the gender of her child until “mid-December.”
As for why she decided to walk away from Party Down South, Wright explained, “Well, I knew there was a possibility that I could be pregnant. And with all the drama and the stress that I went through on season 2 and how I saw people flip-flopping, it was just the time for me where I needed to grow up and make a decision for me, and for my safety and mental health, and for my baby if I was really pregnant. And that’s obviously not an environment you want to be in. I’ve seen people do it on TV, but that’s just not for me.”
When Wright left Party Down South, she cited her religion as a reason behind her exit. However, when it comes to marriage before baby, as many religions would recommend, Wright said she’s taking things slow.
“I don’t want to just get married because I’m having a baby, so I want to have the baby, and see how well we parent together and see because our relationship will probably change a little bit, like we’ll be going from little lovebirds to being parents, so I want to be able to grow into who we’re gonna be, and then see if we want to take that next step. I just don’t want to get married to each other because I’m having a baby. Let’s see how well we parent together, and just let life take its course.”
On Thanksgiving, Wright shared a couple of photos of her baby bump with fans.
“Already Doin some Black Friday shoppin & had to snap a ‘dressin room bump selfie’ #babybit loved the ham and turkey and is ready for leftovers,” she wrote in the caption. “Hope y’all had a great day today!”
A week ago, Wright shared a collage of photos of her baby bump.
Along with the photo, she wrote, “Everyone’s askin for another #babybit bump shot… So here we go!!!!!!! #blessed #thankyaJesus #almost90lbs #LBgettinB.I.G.”
As the Inquisitr reported, fellow reality star Jenni “JWoww” Farley welcomed her first child over the summer. However, unlike Wright, Farley has not walked away from reality TV. According to the Inquisitr, Farley and her fiancé, Roger Williams, revealed the first photos of their daughter in late July.
According to CMT, Party Down South premieres in February 2015.
