This limited edition, Zelda-themed Nintendo 3DS is beautiful

If you happen to be a Zelda fan and still haven’t picked up a Nintendo 3DS as of yet, or if you’re just in the mood for throwing down some cash for a second one, you may be interested in this news.

Nintendo of Europe today announced a new Zelda-themed version of the Nintendo 3DS, seen above, that will be going on sale on November 25. It features a black coat of paint on the Nintendo 3DS, with some pretty sleek and stylish gold trimmings and Zelda-themed designs.

It’s rather subtly presented, all things considered, so you won’t have to feel like you’re carrying a Nintendo 3DS with an advertisement plastered over it, if that sort of thing bothers you. In fact, I’d personally have to say this is one of the best 3DS designs to date.

Unfortunately, there’s no word yet on whether this sweet new 3DS will be making its way elsewhere. For now, all we know is that it’s expected to retail for €199 and will include a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D to sweeten the deal further.

If Nintendo makes this available stateside, I think I might just have to take the plunge on this. What about you?
