Where in the World is Jennifer Lopez?

“Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” is coming to the big screen and Jennifer Lopez could find herself in the starring role.

Lopez is lined up to produce the movie base on the popular video game, and according to Deadline, she may also step into Carmen Sandiego’s shoes.

Deadline reports that Walden Media recently acquired the rights to “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego” and they plan to turn it into a live-action film with the help of Lopez. Walden said that Lopez is only a producer at the moment.

Here’s the logline for the movie:

“When the ACME agency’s greatest detective Carmen Sandiego becomes the world’s greatest thief, it’s up to her former partner to follow her clues and track her down. Their cat-and-mouse game leads the partner to confront a greater mystery: Is Carmen really a thief or a hero? “

Carmen Sandiego has almost made it to the big screen in the past. Disney had the project lined up with Sandra Bullock to star in the title role, but the movie never materialized.

Currently, Carmen Sandiego spends most of her time in classrooms across the world teaching kids geography (She also hangs out on Facebook). But as any Carmen fan knows, she could be anywhere in the world tomorrow.
