‘Southern Charm’ Star Thomas Ravenel Accused Of Assaulting Kathryn Dennis’ Stylist
Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel joined the Bravo family as a bit of a bad boy. Prior to signing on to the reality show, Ravenel had done time behind bars and been labeled as a dirty politician. Now, as he campaigns for a spot in the Senate, he is once again making headlines for all the wrong reasons.
On October 23, Reality Tea reported Ravenel was accused of assaulting his girlfriend’s stylist — and falling into a pool with his 7-month-old daughter, Kensie.
“Lauren Moser was visiting Thomas and Kathryn [Dennis] at his downtown home last Friday night when she claims she was assaulted by the reality star,” the site reported.
In a statement filed with the police three days after the reported incident, Moser claimed the Southern Charm star “went to bed only to return a few minutes later with the sleeping seven-month-old when he ‘yelled to Kathryn that she needed to take care of the sleeping child.’ It was after this incident that T-Rav stumbled into the pool with the baby.”
Ravenel and Dennis welcomed their first child earlier this year in Florida, where they spend the majority of their time.
Moser alleged Ravenel then gave the baby to Dennis before storming off, slamming the door on her, “hitting her once in the knee and bruising her arm.” During the altercation, Moser was reportedly videotaping Ravenel.
Even after the altercation, Moser stayed in the home “to make sure that the baby and Kathryn were fine before she left.” When Ravenel discovered she had not left the premises, he “returned naked and began screaming (expletive) get your stuff and get out.”
In June, after starring in his first season of reality TV on Bravo’s Southern Charm, Ravenel took to Twitter, where he announced he would not be signing on for a second season. He told fans, “If there is a Season 2 of #Southern Charm, I will not be a participant. I do wish the show the best though.” At the time, Bravo told Post and Courier they had “nothing to comment on at the moment.”
According to the Post and Courier, this was the second incident Ravenel has been involved in since announcing his candidacy. The site claimed Ravenel was accused of harassing his former political consultant earlier this year.
Following the alleged incident, Southern Charm‘s Ravenel released a statement, telling press, “I am totally confident that once the police investigation is completed, the truth will come out.”
In other Bravo news, the Inquisitr recently reported The Real Housewives of Miami would return to Bravo in 2015. As the Inquisitr also reported, the Real Housewives of New Jersey recently filmed in Miami, as well.
