Amber Marchese Reflects on ‘RHONJ’: Was She Hazed?
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese may have been new to the housewives franchise this year, but she quickly learned that it requires some thick skin to get through a single season. Dina Manzo decided to return after walking out of the second season, but it is quite possible that she won’t return for a second season, given the drama that happened due to Marchese’s husband, Jim Marchese.
Amber Marchese herself may have said a couple of things in regard to Nicole Napolitano being a home-wrecker during the first couple of episodes of the show, but she was not a person who started feuds. Instead, her husband was the one who was being blamed for tensions and troubles. As a result, Jim Marchese was not invited to the finale party, which was a Project Ladybug event.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Amber Marchese is now hinting that she felt like a hazing victim, as she was the newbie in the cast. But Amber wasn’t the only new housewife. Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano were also new to the cast.
“As it was my rookie season, I felt like I was being hazed in a sorority, but as hard as it was, I made it,” Amber Marchese reveals, adding, “I learned so much about how strong I am as a person and some areas that I can work on. I learned that I really do have a “no surrender, never retreat” mentality. I will go to bat with anyone, at any time, and will defend myself and my family at all cost.”
Even though Amber Marchese’s husband has been criticized by her co-stars, she continues to stand by her man. In fact, in her blog for the final episode, Amber is revealing that she learned that her husband is much stronger than she thought.
“I also witnessed the undying love that my husband has for me and his family. He was not going to let anyone hurt me and will unleash hell if someone tries. He is truly my modern day Spartan warrior,” Amber Marchese reveals.
Dina Manzo has called Amber out for her trying to be the victim this season. For Dina, it sounds like Amber wants people to know that she can do no wrong. But according to the Inquisitr, Amber did call Teresa Aprea out for drinking too much, hinting that she did have a problem.
What do you think of Amber Marchese’s hazing comment? Do you think it is justified?
