‘RHONY’ Star LuAnn de Lesseps Is Selling Her Belongings To Move On
The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps was one of the original housewives when the show first started a few years ago, but things have changed for the Countess. Not only has she gotten divorced, but she has also kissed her dreams of another child goodbye, after recently breaking up with her long-time boyfriend, Jacques.
While being married to the Count, LuAnn de Lesseps lived a great life with plenty of properties, including a vacation home in the Hamptons and a townhouse in New York City. But these days, LuAnn is downsizing to find something worthwhile for herself now that she is alone. And since her children are growing up and leaving the nest, she doesn’t want to stay in the big Hamptons home.
According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps is selling her furniture and belongings in a move to leave the Hamptons. Next week, LuAnn will be holding an estate sale at her home in Bridgehampton in Long Island. LuAnn de Lesseps will be selling designer fine furnishings, antiques, chandeliers, numerous bedroom suites, and even the equipment from a full gym.
LuAnn de Lesseps is also selling plenty of art, including watercolors, oil paintings, and even printed art by various artists. No word on whether her daughter’s art is among the selling pieces. LuAnn de Lesseps designed the home herself, and now she needs to get rid of these items. She has already found a new home in Sag Harbor, where she is currently living.
“I am sad to let go of the house that has meant so much to myself and my family, but it is time to move on to a new chapter of my life,” LuAnn says about the move, adding, “My daughter Victoria is a junior in college, my son Noel is off to college next year so it will be empty nest time for me. I have always loved spending time in Bridgehampton, but love to be on the water and very happy in my new house in Sag Harbor.”
According to The Inquisitr, LuAnn de Lesseps is worth upwards of $2 million, but she was the one fighting for more money for filming The Real Housewives of New York. But it sounds like she isn’t getting more than her $65,000 paycheck to film the show. Plus, it sounds like she isn’t getting along with her co-stars, as Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan recently ignored her at an event in New York.
