New Batman: Arkham City DLC trailer shows off Nightwing [Video]

Batman: Arkham City hasn’t even been out on consoles for very long, but Warner Bros. Interactive and Rocksteady Studios are already gearing up to launch the first wave of DLC on November 1, starting with the Nightwing DLC.

As detailed in the latest video, the DLC lets you take on the role of Robin’s other alter-ego, Nightwing. Going by the video, however, it looks like he isn’t just a re-skin – he has his own unique gadgets, his animations are different from Batman’s and Nightwing’s overall gameplay seems appropriately unique.

The DLC will only allow you to play as Nightwing, but Rocksteady has said they’re planning on releasing additional chapters to the story at some point down the line. Until then, we’ll be getting the Nightwing pack, a Robin pack (with skins) and a skin pack for Batman in December. Both the Nightwing and Robin pack will set you back $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) each.
