Marcus Grodd, Lacy Faddoul Update: Is This ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Couple Still Together?
Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise this past summer, and they even got engaged in the finale. How are the two doing now? Are they still planning a walk down the aisle? Marcus and Lacy haven’t said too much these days, but based on their social media sites, it certainly seems that all is well.
As Bachelor in Paradise fans likely remember, Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul left the show having to deal with a long-distance relationship. Grodd lives in Texas, while Faddoul lives in California. Though gossip guru Reality Steve had indicated at the end of the show that he heard Lacy was planning a move to Dallas, it doesn’t seem that the couple has moved forward in that direction quite yet.
Despite the fact that Lacy and Marcus still live in different states, it’s clear that they’ve been traveling back-and-forth to visit one another frequently. About a week ago, Lacy was in Texas, and she tweeted that she was at the state fair with Marcus. She’s posted a number of times about flights back and forth between Los Angeles and Dallas, and she thanked fans for their continued love and support.
Marcus hasn’t been posting quite as much about Lacy on his Twitter page lately, though his profile page does note “love live, love family, love fiancee, love happiness.” He also recently retweeted one of Lacy’s tweets about helping to create homes for the elderly, and he posted several pictures including Lacy throughout September.
There had been some rumors about trouble in paradise not long after the finale aired, but neither Marcus nor Lacy ever addressed the buzz. They do seem to mostly be laying low, a bit of a departure for people coming from The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. While Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray are doing a lot of appearances, and Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell can be seen now on Couples Therapy, the Bachelor in Paradise couples seem to be just living their lives.
Both Marcus and Lacy, along with Michelle Money and Cody Sattler, walked away from Bachelor in Paradise in love, but both couples have been laying pretty low. Michelle and Cody do post about one another frequently, and it seems pretty clear that all is well. Marcus and Lacy definitely are taking the most low-key approach to being a couple out of all the franchise success stories, and fans hope that’s just because they’re happy and doing their own thing.
What does the future hold for Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul? The Bachelor in Paradise stars had initially said they planned to wed next year, but they haven’t said much lately, and for now fans will just have to stay tuned.
