ISIS In America: Four Terrorists Allegedly Arrested In Texas
Four ISIS terrorists have allegedly been arrested just in the last day or two at or near the U.S.-Mexican border in Texas, according to a report from Judicial Watch.
The government watchdog group claimed today that “Islamic terrorists have entered the United States through the Mexican border and Homeland Security sources tell Judicial Watch that four have been apprehended in the last 36 hours by federal authorities and the Texas Department of Public Safety.”
Last night, U.S. Congressman and Marine combat vet Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) declared on FNC that his U.S. Border Patrol sources told him that agents have detained at least 10 ISIS fighters at the U.S.-Mexican border. Added Hunter: “If you really want to protect Americans from ISIS, you secure the southern border. The U.S. southern border is the only way that Americans get harmed by ISIS… If they catch five or 10 of them, then you know there is going to be dozens more that did not get caught by the Border Patrol.”
There has been no official U.S. government confirmation of these claims, however.
Early last month, Judicial Watch asserted based on its high-level intel contacts that from a staging point in the crime-ridden city of Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, ISIS was planning a car bomb attack on the Fort Bliss army base in El Paso, Texas, which is only about 15 minutes from the southern border. Security at Fort Bliss was supposedly beefed up at the installation as a result.
U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) recently announced during a Capitol Hill meeting that four known Middle Eastern terrorists tried to sneak into the United States from Mexico on September 10, the day before the commemoration of the 2001 terrorist attack at the World Trade Center.
Several border sheriffs have also warned that ISIS terrorists may have already penetrated the wide open U.S. border with Mexico, where human traffickers and violent drug cartels have also been operating extensively.
Despite the recent surge of immigrants from Central America and other parts of the world at the southern border, the Obama administration has been unwilling to deploy the National Guard or other military assets to back up the Border Patrol to restore order there. With the Border Patrol overwhelmed by a massive influx, illegal immigrants have been walking across the southern border into Texas from at least 75 different countries, and not just from Central America, a separate Inquisitr story revealed. Many of those apprehended in the Rio Grande area and elsewhere are released into the country after being initially detained by Border Patrol agents.
Do you think it is plausible that ISIS is already in America after crossing the U.S.-Mexican border?
