‘RHOBH’ Star Brandi Glanville Wants To Change Her Sons’ Names

Brandi Glanville from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may show fans her wild side and her growing friendships on the show, but she is legally not allowed to have her sons, Mason and Jake, on the hit Bravo show. Her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian, put his foot down when it comes to having his two sons on national television. The boys don’t film LeAnn & Eddie either, a VH1 spin-off show that was offered to Brandi’s ex-husband last year.

Brandi Glanville doesn’t seem to mind that her sons cannot film with her, but there is one thing that she wants to change. When she planned to have her children, Brandi believed that her marriage was meant to be. So, she used Eddie’s last name.

According to a Wetpaint Entertainment report, Brandi Glanville from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is now revealing that she wants to change the names of her sons, because she did all of the work in raising them. Her sons, Mason and Jake, carry the name of her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. Neither boy has any hint that Brandi Glanville is indeed their mother in a legal sense.

“I would like my children to be hyphenated,” Brandi said in her most recent Podcast One, adding, “We’re not together and I did all the work.”

Brandi learned that her ex-husband was cheating on her with LeAnn Rimes and other women when she was pregnant with her second child. In other words, her second son didn’t get to experience the happy family home that Glanville had been hoping for.

Brandi Glanville revealed that the inspiration to change her sons’ names came from a gift, where she got three monogrammed Ralph Lauren blankets for her and her boys. The blankets were initialled with “G” for Glanville, not “C” for Cibrian.

“I didn’t want to break her heart because they were expensive,” Brandi said about the gift, revealing, “And it made me think ‘why not?'”

Glanville has been filming the newest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and she has been working on resolving her issues with her co-stars. She was rumored to be feuding with Kim Richards, but she later debunked the story. In addition, Brandi has been working on her business ventures, which include launching her very own wine business. According to The Inquisitr, Brandi Glanville has struggled to find a catchy name for the line, but surely she will come up with something in time for the launch.

But this name change for her sons could definitely become a part of the newest season.
