One of the world’s newest and biggest stars, Bruno Mars, has set to work on his third full-length studio album.
After wowing at the NFL Superbowl and touring with Pharrell Williams, Bruno decided it’s time to pump out some new material. According to Popdust , Bruno posted the announcement on Facebook .
“Now it’s time to start writing chapter 3,” Mars wrote to his fans. “See you soon hooligans. Brunz”
We can only assume chapter 3 refers to Bruno’s next musical effort, a followup to 2012’s Unorthodox Jukebox .
Bruno Mars is a 28-year-old American singer and songwriter who was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to a family of musicians. Bruno was performing as young as the age of four and has been inseparable from the stage ever since. Mars works with a group of musicians called The Hooligans.
Since the release of his first album, 2010’s Doo-Wops & Hooligans , Bruno Mars has become arguably the hottest male pop star on the planet. Mars’ records have sold more than 12 million copies worldwide. Both Doo-Wops & Hooligans and Unorthodox Jukebox went double platinum in the United States, and as much as five and six times platinum in other countries.
Bruno Mars is close to ending an incredibly long tour called the Moonshine Jungle. During his trip around the world, Mars played 155 dates. Many of those dates included Pharrell Williams, until Williams mysteriously ditched Bruno’s tour without an explanation. Bruno will finish up the Moonshine Jungle tour on his own with a two night residency at Las Vegas’ The Cosmopolitan.
According to The Singers Room , Bruno’s final performances will take place on October 16 and 17. Both dates are already sold out, however, some tickets are still available for some of Bruno Mars’ sold out shows. For more information on the remaining tickets and how to get your hands on them, check out The Inquisitr’s recent report here .
After the tour is over, Mars will be diving headfirst into the studio to record new tracks, not unlike Britney Spears, who is also working on a new album .
So far, there are no rumors about who Bruno Mars might be collaborating with on his third album or what creative direction he plans to take the album in, but check back with The Inquisitr for more updates on what Bruno is doing and with whom he decides to work. Bruno’s newest album is likely to be a huge hit, so keep an eye out for a release date.
