Lisa Vanderpump Leaves A Mean Tip For Restaurant Server, But Just How Mean?
Lisa Vanderpump and husband Ken Todd should know a thing or two about the appropriate tip to leave for a server when dining in Beverly Hills.
Nevertheless, on a recent visit to Bar On 4, located inside Neiman Marcus, as reported by Radar Online, the couple apparently left a measly one percent tip!
An insider told the publication, “They ordered a ton of food and drinks and stayed for several hours, They left $5 cash on a $500 bill!”
One would also have assumed that Vanderpump would know better about how to act in a restaurant, especially seeing as she has owned 26 of them globally during her career.
But according to the insider, Lisa Vanderpump has no etiquette whatsoever when she was at Bar On 4, and was allegedly obnoxious to staff. “She comes into Bar on 4 quite often,” the source said. “She is always loud, and doesn’t treat any of the staff with respect,” they said.
It is also well known that Vanderpump has had her fair share of issues with employees at her own eatery, Villa Blanca, as has been reported on before by numerous media sources. One former employee, Karina Bustillo, just won $100,000 in punitive damages stemming from a sexual harassment lawsuit brought against former manager Michael Govia.
In 2012, Vanderpump and Todd were also sued by a former employee, Ricardo Velasco, over “discrimination” and “wrongful termination” claims. Velasco was awarded a lump sum of $75,000 in the judgment of that case.
Even though the Radar source said, “She is the most obnoxious woman ever and gets what she gives,” a rep for the couple insisted, “As owners of 26 dining and nightlife establishments over the decades, Ken and Lisa have always been very cognoscente of a generous tipping.”
So the $5 tip on a $500 bill was “generous” was it?
