The Simpsons could not be more opposite in prestige and debonair than the British Royal Family, despite their antics mirroring one another at times. However, pop artist Alexsandro Palombo has decided to share what it would be like to draw< a href=”https://www.inquisitr.com/1436439/prince-harry-and-camilla-thurlow-take-romance-to-open-waters/” target=”_blank”>Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, in the styling of the infamous FOX characters.
Alexsandro Palombo is an Italian artist known for his satirical take on art. Capturing Kate Middleton in the style of The Simpsons may just be one of his most genius moments yet, although some may find it disrespectful and distasteful. The art renderings capture Kate Middleton in some of her most iconic pieces of clothing from her wardrobe and are crafted tastefully. According to his blog, the pictures are described as:
“An exclusive tour at Buckingham Palace with Princess Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth II immortalized in their royal iconic style by artist aleXsandro Palombo. Location: London, Buckingham Palace, The Grand Staircase and The Throne Room.”
In all, there are over 50 pieces of art depicting her many outfits. Each one captures a pristine moment in time and renders it in a luxurious Simpsons -esque way. Some of Palombo’s previous works were not so eloquent in their design, such as the his features of Marge Simpson in various poses with some of Hollywood’s top outfits and Disney Princesses with disabilities.
There has not been a comment from Kate Middleton or the Royal Family in regards to the artwork, although it would be pretty amazing to see a full Royal Family portrait, rendered by Palombo, hanging in Buckingham Palace. Matt Groening has also kept silent on the artwork. Who knows — maybe the artwork will influence a future episode of The Simpsons and we will see the family travel to London and have tea with the Queen.
Kate Middleton has drawn attention from multiple venues for her exquisite demeanor, her beautiful features, and her polite aura. However, others have focused on her possible feud with the queen, whether or not she is pregnant, and comparisons between her and Princess Diana. Regardless of which side of the coin you fall, it is easy to see how Palombo’s artwork captures Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, in all of her natural beauty and poise.
What are your thoughts on the artwork? Is it disrespectful, inspiring, or are you of the opinion that it doesn’t matter?
