WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley Declines ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Due To ‘Embarrassing Condition,’ Still Gets Soaked [VIDEO]
Its been about a month since the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge hit the internet. Spreading across the social media landscape like an epidemic, it has become a worthwhile cause to finding a cure for a condition that gets very little support. Since last week, the challenge has raised about $22 million for ALS research as reported here on The Inquisitr, and it should be noted that our report has some age to it so the dollar amount is higher now.
Despite its popularity, some people are choosing not to support the challenge because of what the company responsible for the research does. Pamela Anderson turned down the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge because the ALS Association uses animals for their research. For those who are pro-life, they might turn down the challenge too because the company also uses embryonic stem cells. However, we do have another article about stem cell facts that may counter the pro-life stance.
Now another celebrity has participated ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and he is a WWE Hall of Famer and hardcore legend… though it may be against his own will.
In an uploaded video on his Facebook page, Mick Foley declined to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, not because he didn’t support ALS research, but because he has a “rare and embarrassing condition.” Unfortunately for Mick Foley, the former WWE star received no mercy as he and his son were bombarded with buckets of ice, cold water thus exposing the condition they were trying to hide: large nipples.
The WWE Hardcore Legend’s son, Mickey Foley, screamed in disdain as he shouted to the heavens above in “Wicked Witch of the West” fashion.
“MY NIPPLES! MY NIPPLES!
Right now, there is no word if both Mick Foley and his son suffered any post-traumatic stress from the incident, but knowing how hilarious the WWE Hardcore Legend is in real life – along with the fact he used to work in a man’s soap opera – the large nipple incident was probably kayfabe.
Speaking of kayfabe, Mick Foley isn’t the only superstar either currently or formerly associated with the WWE who participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Vince McMahon, the Chairman of WWE, also soaked himself in freezing cold water as stated by Kermit the Frog. The Undertaker, who hasn’t been on WWE programming since his loss at the hands of Brock Lesnar at WWE Wrestlemania XXX, also doused himself in deathly cold water right after his wife, the first WWE Divas Champion, Michelle McCool issued the challenge.
As for Mick Foley, he was challenged by his daughter Noelle Foley, whom he “put up for sale” online earlier this year. Her ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is shown below.
Did you find Mick Foley’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to be entertaining? What do you think of the WWE Hardcore Legend’s “rare and embarrassing” condition? Better yet, if there was an ice bucket challenge for research in finding a cure for Mick Foley’s “rare and embarrassing” condition, would you partake in it? Let us know in the comments below.
