Tia Mowry: No Feud With Charlize Theron, In Fact She’s My Celebrity Crush

Tia Mowry insists that she is not in any kind of Hollywood feud with Charlize Theron, and in fact it’s quite the opposite.

Responding to reports that Charlize Theron tried to have her kicked out of a SoulCycle class, Tia insisted that there is no problem and that she’s actually quite fond of Charlize.

“I do not know her,” Mowry stated. “I do not know Charlize. I absolutely love her, she’s my ‘woman crush Wednesday,’ you can even see it on my Instagram!

“I’m obsessed with her, I love her, it was definitely blown out of proportion,” Tia added. “So that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

The incident started when Charlize Theron was allegedly rude to Tia Mowry at a SoulCycle class in Los Angeles.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry told In Touch Weekly.” I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

After Mowry spoke out about the incident, Charlize reportedly worked to have Tia banned from the popular spin studio.

Sources said Charlize was furious, complaining to employee that she deserved privacy.

“This nobody who was famous for a minute 20 years ago can complain to the tabloids about me but I can’t expect you to protect me from hangers on in your studio?” Theron said, according to employee.

Charlize Theron then tried to have Tia Mowry banned from the studio, sources claimed, but it didn’t exactly go her way. “When the manager refused Charlize just got angrier and said she’d go to the top to make it happen,” said an insider at SoulCycle.

But other sources say the entire incident has been overblown. Tia Mowry herself said the story got “blown out of proportion” and Charlize Theron has not commented publicly on the incident.
