The United Nations bears the main responsibility for the increase in Anti-Semitism around the world, following the current Hamas war on Israel which started a month ago.
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said on Sunday that he: “deplores the recent upsurge in Anti-Semitic attacks, particularly in Europe, in connection with protests concerning the escalation of violence in Gaza.”
But he failed to accept that the UN itself may have had a direct hand in the increase of anti-Jewish sentiment , especially in Europe and the middle east, due to its never ending condemnations of the Jewish state as it conducts its defensive war against the Hamas terror network in Gaza.
It seems that every time a Palestinian is killed, the UN, along with the world media, rush to make front page news of the incident, while not waiting for the facts on the ground to be investigated in order to ascertain how and why the death or deaths were caused.
Whilst it is of course newsworthy to report on such incidents, it’s very telling that Palestinian deaths garner by far the most UN and world sympathy than “other deaths.”
For example, over the last few days a civil war has erupted in Libya where hundreds of innocent woman and children have been killed. Yet the UN and the world media fail to regard those deaths as “front page news,” preferring to focus only on the Palestinian death toll.
As a result of this policy, Anti-Semitism has increased massively around the world with some European cities now reminiscent of the feeling in Europe prior to the second world war.
The UN has heaped condemnation after condemnation against Israel, If further proof were needed about the U.N stanceNavi Pillay, The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights criticized the U.S. for helping fund Israel’s Iron Dome system which has saved countless Israeli and Palestinian lives. She said “No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling.”
She implied that Israel should provide its Iron Dome system for the Palestinians in Gaza as well.
The constant condemnations may explain the reason why Anti-Semitism has spiked recently around the world. Perhaps it’s time for the world to focus on the real source of the conflict, the terror organization – Hamas .
