‘All Gone To Sea’ Sinks As Calvin Harris Sets Sail For ‘Stereosonic’ Festival
It looks like Calvin Harris won’t be taking the party boat to the high seas in November for the All Gone to Sea event in Miami. Your EDM reports that the music festival was unceremoniously cancelled when the organizers released this message via the event’s web page:
“Unfortunately, due to circumstances completely out of our control All Gone To Sea will not be setting sail this year.”
Ticket holders for the All Gone to Sea cruise are being instructed to contact Rose Tours for a full refund on tickets.
The event was originally the brainchild of Peter Tong, the prominently influential host of BBC Radio Essential Mix. The concept for All Gone to Sea was a floating dance cruise, with major names in electronic music billed to play such as: R3HAB, Luciano, Nervo, Eats Everything, and of course, Calvin Harris.
No other explanation was made for the cancellation at the time of this report.
In related news, Calvin Harris is being billed to perform at Stereosonic, a world famous electronic dance party hosted in the Land Down Under. He will be headlining with Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, and Diplo, to name a few. Music Times reports that the Stereosonic tour will hit five cities in Australia throughout November.
Forbes reports that Stereosonic is the second most popular international music festival event, garnering the second largest attendance, right behind Tomorrowland.
