HBO Announces New Cast Members Of ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 At Comic-Con With Video [Video]

It is official! The new cast members of Game of Thrones Season 5 have been announced at the 2014 Comic-Con in San Diego. The new season will feature nine new faces and certainly a few deaths.

For GoT fans, HBO went above and beyond by not only providing the names of the cast and characters being added for Game of Thrones Season 5, they also released a short video featuring the new cast members talking about their excitement to join the show.

As outlined in the video, new cast members for Game of Thrones Season 5 will include Alexander Siddig as Doran Martell; Enzo Cilenti as Yezzan; Toby Sebastian as Trystane Martell; Rosabell Laurenti Sellers as Tyene Sand; Nell Tiger Free as Myrcella Baratheon; DeObia Oparei as Areo Hotah; Jonathan Pryce as the High Sparrow; Jessica Henwick as Nymeria (“Nym”) Sand; and Keisha Castle-Hughes as Obara Sand.

In the video you will note that the Sands all seem exceptionally excited about the weapons they will be using in the show. We even get to see Rosabell Sellers (aka Tyene Sand in GoT) show us some of her double dagger moves. Other new cast members just speak on their excitement to be working with such an amazing lineup of talented actors on such a widely watched series. Also released at Comic-Con was a Game of Thrones blooper reel from the Season 4 episodes.
