Even Armani can’t make speedos look fashionable

Georgio Armani, usually considered the epitome of style, was pictured vacationing in St Barts wearing a pair of speedos. Not even Armani can make speedos look chic.

In Australia this style of men’s bathing suit is known as a “budgie smuggler”. They are known as this because the “lump in the front” apparently resembles a budgie when it is stuffed down the front of a guy’s shorts. But really this form of swim wear is just a pair of stretchy undies that is only socially acceptable at the beach.

On the plus side though, Armani is obviously more acquainted with sunscreen than Donatella Versace.
