Kanye West Spent $2 Million On North West Her First Year, Including $440,000 On Fashion

Kanye West has no problem spending big money for the finer things in life, and his 1-year-old daughter is no exception.

A new report found that the rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian dropped about $2 million on daughter North West in her first year of life, including her staff of five nannies and one member of their security entourage solely dedicated to watching baby North.

The report from the UK’s Daily Star Sunday claims that a large chunk of the money — about $480,000 — was spent on first-class airfare as the couple jetted around the globe with North West in tow.

The report noted:

“The bill included first-class seats for North and at least one nanny on flights including LA to Paris, Austria, New York and Aspen, Colorado, as well as numerous shorter hops.

“This figure does not take into account private jets regularly hired by her mum and dad at around [$4,000] an hour.”

The staff of nannies, which included two full-time staffers and three part-time, cost another $430,000 for Kanye West and his wife. They also reportedly dropped $12,000 a month on house calls from a top pediatrician and nurse.

Keeping North West fashionable is also important to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. They reportedly spend more than $200,000 on designer baby clothes for their daughter and another $240,000 on jewelry.

“North is dressed head to toe in couture clothes such as Kenzo, Lanvin and Riccardo Tisci,’ a source said. “Kim just loves to shop for her.”

The couple dropped even more on the blowout first birthday party for their daughter. The couple planned a Coachella-style party called Kidchella to celebrate her big day.

Partygoers enjoyed a giant carnival in the couple’s spacious backyard, including booths for hair-braiding, face-painting, and tie-dying T-shirts and bandannas. Guests were also given custom Yeezus T-shirts as presents, TMZ reported. The party itself reportedly cost more than $100,000.

Kanye West is reportedly the worst when it comes to spoiling his daughter, a former employee of the couple told the Daily Star Sunday. He reportedly buys North West lavish gifts that she won’t even be able to play with until she’s older.
