You’ll Never Believe How One Angry Customer Got Back At His Bank — Hold Your Nose!

Barclays Bank isn’t saying why, if it even knows why, but one customer registered a unique and impossible-to-ignore form of protest Monday when he walked into a branch of the global banking behemoth and left, shall we say, a series of deposits that the bank staff were not at all happy to receive.

Was the man, described by witnesses as middle-aged and apparently “well-to-do,” a dissatisfied customer, who felt he had been wronged in some way by Barclays Bank? Well, given his actions, which made a strong impression on everyone in the bank, it’s safe to say he wasn’t exactly a satisfied customer.

In that case, he certainly wouldn’t be alone as millions of bank customers have protested banking policies in recent years, largely by simply taking their money out of big banks and finding some other place for it.

But what no protester has done, until now, was walk into a bank and defecate all over the floor, again and again.

According to witness accounts, the bald man, wearing a pair of short shorts but otherwise appearing no different from any other Barclays customer, entered the bank in the English town of Andover, promptly squatted and used the bank floor as a toilet.

But once was not enough for the still-unidentified man, who stood up, walked to several other areas of the bank and performed the same bathroom function in each different location. Reportedly, he even walked up a short flight of stairs in the bank and did more business on the second level, just to be sure that everyone in the bank was clear about his message.

A witness described that man as appearing “calm but angry” as he went about leaving his malodorous gifts for the bank staff and patrons. He then departed the bank branch with a “smug” look on his face.

Witnesses said they had no idea what was going on until they were overcome by the stench.

“He didn’t say anything at all, but you can tell from his face he looked angry,” said one witness. “I wasn’t really paying attention until I noticed a foul, but unmistakable smell.”

“I was just queuing up, there were about a dozen customers there, and this guy walked in,” said Barclays Bank customer Gareth McCarthy, 27. “”I looked at the guy and he was just calmly walking around the bank – going to all the areas he could. It’s quite clear what he was doing – he just had this calm but angry look on his face, as he walked around leaving special deposits on the floor. And then as calmly as he walked in he left. Staff didn’t know what on earth had just happened.”

Due to what McCarthy described as the “unreal stench” of the man’s “deposits,” the Barclays staff was forced to close the branch for much of the day as they attempted to clean up the mess and rid the bank of its uninviting aroma.
