Adriana Lima Celebrates Being Single By Baring Skin On Miami Beach

Adriana Lima is newly single, and the 33-year-old Victoria’s Secret Angel is showing her ex what he’s missing out on.

The model showed off her figure at Miami Beach this week, wearing a green bikini that displayed her toned arms and abs. The model was photographed wearing sunglasses as she took a dip in the water.

It was just last month that Adriana and husband Marko Jaric announced that they were splitting after five years of marriage. The retired Serbian basketball player and his supermodel wife have two children together, 2-year-old daughter Valentina and 21-month old daughter Sienna.

The couple had met in 2006 at a party in Los Angeles. They married three years later, on Adriana’s 27th birthday, at an intimate ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

At the time, Adriana said meeting Marko caused her to undergo a giant shift in her plans for life.

“I never saw myself being married. But after I met him everything changed,” she said at the time.

But after five years of marriage, the couple announced last month that they were going their separate ways.

“After long and careful consideration, we have decided to separate after five years of marriage,” they said in a joint statement. “We are grateful to be the parents of two incredible young daughters that we will continue to co-parent. We would greatly appreciate your respect for our family’s privacy as we begin this delicate next chapter for all members of our family.”

Keeping busy appears to be the post-divorce M.O. for Adriana Lima. Last month, she was spotted on the streets of New York for a Maybelline photo shoot, wearing a fur waistcoat and skin tight jeans as she posed on the street. Lima had just come off a night of partying following the Met Gala, but witnesses said she looked fantastic.

It appears that Adriana Lima might already have a new man. The model was seen cozying up to pop star Justin Bieber, who is 13 years her junior, at the Cannes Film Festival in France last month. The two attended a party at a nightclub on the French Riviera, and sources say the singer “pursued her hard” and later followed her to a house party.
