Gwen Stefani to Release ‘Harajuku Mini’ Kids Line
With the success artist Gwen Stafani has enjoyed upon releasing her two existing clothing lines, Harajuku Lovers and L.A.M.B, the 41-year-old No Doubt lead vocalist has decided to create a third.
Later this fall, Stefani is collaborating with Target to launch Harajuku Mini, an affordable “Japanese anime-inspired” clothing line for babies, children and tweens of the hip variety.
“Harajuku Mini is a dream come true,” Stefani told Women’s Wear Daily. “I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the super cute and playful kid’s clothing you find in Japan. The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality and having fun getting dressed.”
While there is currently no website setup to show the upcoming line before it hits stores, Stefani hinted that the designs would mimic the styles sported by her two boys – Kingston, 5, and Zuma, 3.
Harajuku Mini debuts November 13 in Target stores and will fall in the wallet-friendly price range of $3.99 to $29.99.
