‘Vampire Diaries’ Star Nina Dobrev Is Clueless About Season 6

Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev can’t answer any of your questions about the sixth season of CW’s blood-sucking drama.

Although writers and producers are reportedly hard at work on the next batch of episodes, the actress isn’t privy to anything they’ve put together. According to the Dobrev, she has absolutely no idea what’s in store for the Vampire Diaries characters when the series returns later this year.

According to Buzzsugar, the actress is busy promoting the Air Optix Colors line of contact lenses this summer. The website decided to pick her brain about Vampire Diaries season 6, though Dobrev said she doesn’t have any juicy details to share with the public just yet.

Here’s what she told the outlet. Warning: The following quote contains some spoilers, so don’t continue if you’re not completely caught up on the latest season of Vampire Diaries.

“To be honest with you, I haven’t seen the last couple of episodes because I was on location filming. But I think Stefan (Paul Wesley) died in the second to last episode, and then Damon (Ian Somerhalder) died in the last episode. I think I survived, I don’t know! I mean, I really don’t know what is going to happen, they don’t tell us. I’m in the dark as much as you guys all are.”

While she doesn’t have any specifics to share at the moment, Nina told TV Guide that fans shouldn’t expect her character to stay happy for very long. Since the CW loves to amp up the drama, she foresees some rocky terrain for Elena over the course of season six.

“In high-stakes situations where anything can happen… it really makes you think about your life and what’s most important and who’s most important,” she explained.

The Vampire Diaries star added, “If you look back to season one, it’s been very hectic for her and it’s nice [for her and Stefan] to be in a settled place. But it’s the CW; we’re not going to stay there for very long. She’s not going to be happy for more than 15 minutes in the first episode of season six.”

Unfortunately, we don’t have a proper premiere date for the next installment of Vampire Diaries to share with our readers as of this writing.
