Luke Bryan Wants Everyone To Have Fun At The ACM Awards
For Luke Bryan, the name of the game is having fun.
The country music star is all set to host the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards this Sunday (April 6). However, Bryan won’t have to tackle this gig alone. Fellow musician Blake Shelton is also helping out with the ceremony. In other words, fans should expect to have an incredible time.
According to Great America Country, Luke Bryan is pretty enthusiastic about the ACM Awards. To say the guy is ridiculously excited about the show is one of the year’s biggest understatements. Judging from his comments, Bryan wants to make sure fans and artists have an absolute blast during the event.
“I’m very, very excited. Entertainer of the Year nominee – that’s amazing. Album and Male Vocalist — I’m very, very excited about that. It’s gonna be another busy ACM fun time, me and Blake hosting, and nothing’s better than going out there and having some amazing nominations, and I want to thank my fans for making that happen, and everybody at the ACMs,” Bryan explained.
In addition to hosting the awards show, Luke Bryan is also performing at the 4th Annual ACM Fan Jam on April 6. The country music sensation and a handful of other acclaimed artists will take the stage at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas at 5 pm. If you haven’t picked up your tickets for the event, then you might want to consider doing so as soon as possible.
Luke Bryan has definitely stayed busy over the past few months. The singer recently released the latest Spring Break EP, a collection of songs he put together to celebrate the return of warm weather. According to Radio.com, he just dropped the single “She Get Me High” to help promote the collection.
“I just kind of stumbled into doing the spring break concerts and making the spring break album, and here we are on the sixth spring break album. It’s awesome. It’s totally what you want as an entertainer, to have those kind of dynamics in your show,” Bryan said of his annual EP and spring concert series.
He continued, “Nobody’s going to hold it against me. It’s not going to come back and haunt me if I do a crazy song for spring break.”
Apparently Luke Bryan is doing something right. The singer was nominated for Entertainer of the Year at the ACM Awards. Be sure to tune in and see if the country music star takes home the honor on April 6.
