Redbox Now Offering $2 Video Game Rentals
Redbox, the company famous for their $1 per night new release movie rentals is now taking on the gaming market with $2 a day video game rentals.
The company is offering newer gaming titles that would normally go for $50 to $60 per title, giving users a chance to try out games with no obligation before they make a purchase.
Various system games are up for grabs including PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii titles and 5,000 kiosks are already offering gaming titles as part of the companies initial testing with 21,000 more machines expected to offer games in the U.S. in the coming months.
Redbox renters can even reserve game titles online before picking them up at the kiosk, ensuring the rental is available and ready for them to pick up with a guaranteed rental.
Are you willing to pay $2 per day for Redbox video game rentals? I may be willing to pony up the cash on a night basis just so I can see if Duke Nukem Forever is as bad as many reviewers say it is.
