First Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops Gameplay from Late Night

As we reported yesterday, Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, Sledgehammer co-founder Glen Schofield and Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg dropped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to show off some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gameplay. If you missed it when it aired, NBC has went ahead and put it online for your viewing pleasure.

The video kicks off with the tail-end of the gameplay demo shown during Microsoft’s E3 2011 press conference, with Hirshberg running down the game to Fallon and the audience. More interestingly, Activision and crew show off the public’s very first look at the game’s Spec-Ops mode which, as you’ll see in the video, borrows a bit from Gears of War‘s horde mode.
